Late arrival
It’s a little known fact that the iPhone 4S launch was originally planned in june 2011. Due to a delay in the iOS 5 software and the the iPhone’s personal assistant called Siri, we only got our hands on the device recently.
Steve Jobs
According to some sources Steve Jobs wasn’t closely involved with the iPhone 4S these past few months but actually preparing the next huge iPhone upgrade: the iPhone 5. The next iteration of the iPhone is rumored to be a totally reworked version and a radical upgrade in design and features.
Serious about Siri
The new personal assistant ‘Siri’ is a huge leap forward. Many people think voice recognition will change the way people live, work and search. Some even call Siri a ‘Google’ slayer.
It’s certain Apple and Steve Jobs saw the potential too. Siri got one of the biggest developer teams ever at Apple’s Cupertino campus.
‘S’ for speed
Just like the iPhone 3GS, the iPhone 4S stands for speed. Thanks to Apple’s A5 chip the phone works up to 7 times faster than its predecessor. The iPhone 4S is also faster than any Android phone currently available.
