Blogday is a huge event for bloggers. Blogs globally are asked to recommend five other blogs to their readers in an attempt to make the internet a bit more ’social’.

BlogDay was born in 2005 with the belief that bloggers should have one day which will be dedicated to discover new blogs and expose them to the world.

The blogday initiatior Nir Ofir also has a blog called Ugenco.

And now without further ado my five Blog recommendations for Blogday 2008!

Toons’n Tunes: A blog with loads of links to FAB hit single remixes! Really a blog to cherish!

How to not get cancer: “We’re a hawk, an industry watchdog and we’re on your side.”

This blog was started by its creator when he didn’t believe his girlfriend’s claims about the harmful dangers of Non-Stick frying pans… Sadly after some digging the claims turned out to be true.

The blog’s tag title says it all: “It’s time to smarten up people!”

Everything Kylie: If you don’t know Kylie, you’re definately missing out!

She’s been a superstar for over 20 years now. She’s had so many musical styles and image changes you’d get dizzy trying to keep track, but Kylie is one of the most interesting, lovely and good hearted superstars around.

This blog follows every Kylie item worth reporting!

The next web: A great blog about the future of the internet and all the latest internet apps!

Hongkiat.com: A great resource for bloggers, tech users and designers!
