American born citizens immobilizing and purposely sabotaging their democracy, their government and elected president: Republicans.

Republicans currently are committing the most shameful and unbelievable acts of unpatriotism ever seen.

“Miss me yet?”
It’s a simple question with a simple answer. Hell no!
George Bush’s government gave us:

• The worst act of domestic terrorism on American soil in history
• Not one, but two bloody, costly and messy wars without exit strategy
• The first in a series of unseen deficits
• An unseen financial crisis
• Delibirate human rights violations commited by the US army
• An irresponsable late, unprepared, 3rd world countrly like disastre relief in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina
• A flagrant denial of the ecological crisis currently taking place by the emmitance of greenhouse gasses
• The start of an unseen economic crisis Americans are still struggling with today

Does this mean that Bush is the devil himself? Off course not, the ex-president and his GOP following didn’t mean for all this to happen. But their ignorant, amateurish way of governing did cause all of the above to happen. Hopefully never again!

What makes all this even worse today is the petty, childish and obstructive attitude towards the current Obama administration.
It’s clear what the agenda is: Obama should not be allowed to score at all costs.

The stakes? GOP hopeing to obliterate their components during the next elections. That they’re paralysing the country during the worst economic downturn in the meantime does not seem to matter.

Some republican key players even went on record implying 9/11 happened during George Bush’s reign but Obama’s. These aren’t accidents or hicups… 9/11 is not something you just forget to mention. These are deliberate deeds of misinformation, seeding an negative and even agressive mood against the current US president.

Unbiased?
Maybe… I’m a European. I’m not caught up in the whole partisan US political scene.
But what’s happening now in US of A, I find immoral, frightening and unprecedented.

While the GOP is currently paralyzing the whole democratic and governmental system, America is standing still. While other nations like China keep gaining influence on an unseen global scale.

Plea
I hope American citizens won’t blindly believe what they’re told by any politician, that they can see through all these orchestrated political shenanigans and just… stand up and fight for the American dream in every small or huge way they can.
Only then hope and change for the better can truly be realized.

I implore every American:
Stand up for your country and its values, fight against a political class that’s in it for personal or partisan gains. Fight for the greater good because you all deserve better!

1. Apple‘s style & ease of use will continue to amaze.
Steve Jobs & co will continue to outperform and sell heaps of iPhones & Macbooks. Apple inc will continue to innovate with the launch of their iTablet while giving Apple TV a much needed revamp. The latter two will play very nice together too.

2. 2010 will be the breakthrough year for Blu-ray. Stores will dump their DVD racks make the switch as consumer demand rises. Hardware manufacturers will follow suit.

3. Sony will be the comeback kid with its PS3. Prices will fall and consumers will notice this is the most valuable game console around.

4. Powered by a more conscious and demanding consumer base, the automobile industry will finally start to put more emphasis on innovations and will think outside the box. Resulting in the first usable and payable green cars, new safety standards and more userfriendly features.

5. Also coming to blu-ray, iTunes, Apple TV, cereal boxes and a big screen near you? The Smurfs 3D!
It’ll revive the franchise and result in new TV cartoons and follow up movies.

6. These movies will smash onto the big screen in 2010 and become blockbuster hits!   Marvel’s Iron Man 2 starring the fantastic Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Mickey Rourke, Samuel L. Jackson and Gwyneth Paltrow will smash boxoffice returns of its predecessor.   If not postponed yet again “The A-Team” will be another TV series that’s revived succesfully as a movie franchise.   Sylvester Stallone will hit it big thanks to a little help from his friends thanks to “The expendables” starring: Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger!

Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan will surprise us again with “Inception” starring Leonardo Dicaprio.

Finally to conclude our top 5: “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” will generate some much needed cash for Nicolas Cage and haul a better than expected run at the boxoffice.

And off course, the new episode in the Twilight Saga will hit it big once again.
But that’s hardly a prediction is it? The release date for Twilight: Eclipse is penned down for June 30th.

And what about us? The people… well, it’s “Yes we can!” all the way.   7. More and more people will start using both their heart and brain. Fairtrade and green consciousness will rise remarkably. Charity will become the next “cool” thing as unfortunately more and more deadly disasters will occur.   8. Green technology, solar and wind amongst others will be rolled out on a massive scale in some parts of the world…   9. Wellness, mindfullness, BIO-products will be all the rage!   10. And maybe partly because of the wellness trend more and more people will book getaways. Travel companies, airlines & cruiselines will up prices and smile all the way to the bank. So happy holidays for 2010!

Salvage Attempts Fail
The Navy scrambled tug boats and divers to salvage the ship on Friday. Unfortunately two salvage attempts on Friday and Saturday failed to move the ship.
Now army has started transferring fuel, fresh water and personnel in an attempt to make the vessel 215 tons lighter. A new attempt to tug the ship free from the reef will take place later today.

Half of the crew on board has been moved ashore, that’s 360 people with a total weight of 15 tons.
Marines still on board aren’t that lucky as due to the incident, air conditioning on board broke down.

The Port Royal is one of the Navy’s premier warships, equipped with the sophisticated Aegis radar system and capable of shooting down enemy ballistic missiles.

As usually is the case, the grounding of a Navy vessel will mean an early end of commanding officer Captain John Carroll’s career.

President’s Obama new ride beats any James Bond car ever imagined, nicknamed ‘The Beast’ this state of the art Cadillac is the most advanced car in the world.

The car is rumored to be able to withstand a rocket-propelled grenade, has a completely sealed interior to protect against chemical attacks, runs on flat tires and even has a seperate oxygen supply.

Inside the car tear gas, fire arms and even some packages of Obama’s blood are stored away in case of an emergency.

“The Beast”will make its debut during the inaugural parade on 20 January and will be driven by a CIA trained chauffeur.

The launch of the McDouble actually is a great trick. McDonalds will hike the price to $1.19 pretending it’s a new product while at the same time cut the amount of cheese to one slice. McDouble? Yeah… right!

Not that we’ll loose much sleep over $19 cents, but can you imagine what this could do to McDonalds bottom line selling millionsof McDoubles a week at $19 cents extra? They’ve got a great scheme going there!

Off course it’s a formula many brands have excercised recently… you might have noticed those biscuit packages a bit smaller lately or your favorite shampoo running out just a little bit faster?

Loads of products have kept their regular price but have silently been downscaled by a tiny amount in these daunting times. Shareholders will cheer but customers might not like it…
