Following games didn’t fulfill my expectations…

#1: Mario Party 8

I’ve played older versions of this partygame going back to Mario Party 3. Unfortunately the game just hasn’t progressed as far as it could.

The minigames are fun but they rely to much on good luck more then anything. And honestly the rest of the game is just plain boring. Bring back the boardgames!

 

#2: Battallion Wars II

This game has nice cartoony graphics, but the game levels are just too linear. Also the lacking of a multiplayer option handicaps the game severely. It’s a missed opportunity, but as it is the game isn’t as much fun as it could and should be.

#3: Wii Fit 

Ok, this is a bit weird I know..

. I also included this one in my top 5 of Nintendo Wii games but hang on…I actually LOVE the concept of the Wii Balance Board very much. Playing sports, doing yoga,… it all works impressively well.

But after a while, the novelty wears of and you just don’t get around to playing it after a month or 2. Well, that was the case with me anyway… A #3 on the flop list, but still looking forward to new games for the balance board!
