Did you know 2008 is the year of the smurfs?
The little blue guys celebrate their smurfy 50th birthday with a promotour through Europe, 2 new comics and much more including a 3D animated movie (more on that later).
The Smurfs will also shortly be commemorated by the Belgian Postal Services on a special series of stamps. You’ve got a Smurfette stamp, a Papa Smurf one but also Jokey Smurf, Gargamel, Poet Smurf and Brainy.

As hot as rumours go, this is a scorching one. According to sources close to the company, Marvel has listed Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt as favorites for the leading roles in their next batch of movies.
Box Office gold
Movies as ‘Iron Man’ and ‘The Incredible Hulk’ in its second iteration have proved solid gold at the boxoffice. Iron Man numbers currently standing at: $544,901,292 and a great opening for ‘The Incredible Hulk” at $54,500,000.
Both movies had a fantastic cast including Robert Downey Jr. and Kirsten Dunst in ‘Iron Man’ and Liv Taylor, Tim Roth, William Hurt and Edward Norton in ‘Hulk 2008′.
