The 2008 presidential elections were comedy gold for late-night tv shows!

1. “Sarah Palin’s been spending the last couple of days being briefed by advisers on what she needs to know to be John McCain’s vice president. That’s true. Yeah. Apparently, the first thing they taught her was CPR.”
Conan O’Brien

2. “Did you see the Sarah Palin interview on ABC? This state trooper from Alaska says that Palin lied in the interview. She lied on national television. I’d say someone’s ready for the White House!”
Craig Ferguson

3. “John McCain’s campaign said that Sarah Palin will not talk to the media, this is a quote, until reporters can address her with respect and deference. Oh, what is she running for, vice president or queen?”

“Tonight our guest is Paris Hilton… Unless she has to rush to Washington to save the economy.”

Welcome to ‘The Late Show’ with an understandably mad David Letterman. Letterman was left hanging by John McCain an hour before broadcast as the senator and GOP presidential candidate had to get on a plane and rush to Washington “to save the economy”

Instead John McCain did a live interview on NBC news, went to a restaurant afterwards, spent the night in his luxurious hotel room in NYC and gave a speech the next morning at a political rally. Twenty two hours later McCain got an that plane to Washington…

Enjoy David Letterman’s hilarious rants and reactions… it’s television gold! Also 2 recent clips including Dave’s vision on the second presidential debate.
