Finally, Google shows its cards! A new shot has been fired in the browser wars! The Long rumored Gbrowser exists after all!

Google used quite an original feat to announce the new browser, a comic!

For those interested you can read the comic here.

Users globally will be able to download the browser called “Chrome” at launch today.
This is bad news for Microsoft, as this means even more competition for its “Internet Explorer”. But it’s great news for the rest of us!

Other great browsers already available include Apple’s “Safari”, Mozilla’s FireFox and Opera.

Google motivates the launch of the browser because “they believe they can add value for users and, at the same time, help drive innovation on the web”. More on Google’s official blog!

I’m fascinated by Graphs, numbers and profits. Always have been.

That’s why at the age of 17 I bought my first stock. After a LOT of nagging to my wary parents though.

The date was October 2000 and I just invested my savings in the stock of a wellknown internet bellweather called… Yahoo. At the price of $154 a share. What a bargain, right?
