Celebrity fight over Conan the Barbarian lead role

“Conan the Barbarian” the movie that launched Arnold Schwarzenegger to action hero stardom is getting a remake.
Slated for production in March 2010 huge Hollywood names battled it out for the leading role.

Candidates for the job?
Twilight Actor Kellan Lutz, Supernatural alumni Jared Padalecki and Stargate Atlantis cast member Jason Momoa.

So who’s the chosen one?

The A-team remake – watch the trailer!

One of the best known phrases in TV history is about to be rediscovered thanks to the movie version of “The A-Team”.

The story’s been updated though.
The A-team no longer consists of Vietnam soldiers -- but veterans from the Iraq war.

Bradley Cooper as Templeton Peck
Quinton Jackson as B. A. “Bad Attitude” Baracus

Mariah Carey seems lost (for words)

Now that’s a first! A popstar making the successful crossover to acting!
Mariah just received the breakthrough actress award for her role in the movie “Precious” at the Palm Springs Film Festival Awards Gala.
But the award is not what’s grabbing attention… the bizarre acceptance speech the diva gave is.

Mariah seemed a little dazed and confused but was enjoying herself heaps none the less, at least that counts for something!

Have a look at Mariah’s speech & don’t forget to watch the trailer for “Precious” either. Credit where credit’s due, Mariah’s acting performance is stellar!

2012 – Preview the end of the world!

It promises to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. “2012″, the new movie by Roland Emmerich creator of “Independance Day” and “The Day After Tomorrow”.
Once again the end of the world is near and this time there’s no stopping it… Where’s Will Smith when you need him?

Emmerich uses the famous ‘Earth crust displacement’ theory written in the 1950s by Professor Hapgood. His theory could explain the story of Noah’s Ark and the great biblical flood as scientists have become more and more certain that this massive disastre did actually happen.

Also the Mayan calendar was an inspiration for this movie. The Mayan calendar just ends abruptly on 12/21/12.

All this makes up a promising movie! 2012 is unleashed in cinema’s worldwide on November 13 and stars John Cusack, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton and Oliver Platt in leading roles.
Make sure to bring your inflatable jackets and survival kit with you!
