The Stargates survive!

Last year Stargate SG-1 got cancelled, now another gate closes down… but you can’t send a great tv series in oblivion! Bad news aside, 2008 proves to be a HUGE Stargate year!

 

Stargate SG-1 survived several cast changes, spawned a succesful sister series Stargate Atlantis and the show’s heroes were victorious against many foes. But the show starring Richard Dean Anderson, Beau Bridges and Amanda Tapping didn’t survive the number crunching bureaucrats at SciFi Channel’s headquarters.

 

More bad news…

 

Now after 5 succesful seasons, Stargate Atlantis also needs to close down.

 

SciFi channel wants a noughties scifi series with a younger cast, as apparently Stargate Atlantis is too much "nineties" for them.

 

But hang on there’s loads of good news too!

Great news for all 80’s pop lovers! Jason Donovan one of the biggest teenage idols ever is planning a new album and comeback.

The former ‘Neighbours’ star and Stock Aitken Waterman pop product has gradually been appearing back in the spotlights and now it seems the time is right for a huge comeback!

Jason’s fanbases voted him to the third spot in ITV’s Reality Jungle Show called "I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!" and Jason also stars in the TV soap Echo Beach.
And just a few days ago Jason starred in the hidden camera program "The Charlotte Church Show".

Nerio, by then in a wheelchair, disabled by a terminal desease ends up dead on a sidewalk. Thrown of his penthouse terrace over a hundreds floors down, murdered…
