Six-time Emmy winner actress Betty White will host Saturday Night Live on May 8. But before that everyone can enjoy the 88 year old’s appearance on “Ellen”. The talk show hosted by an equally funny Ellen Degeneres. (Youtube video & more after the jump.)

Fans campaigned for the actress to host SNL on Facebook and attracted nearly 500,000 supporters.

“Years ago, I turned it down three times. It’s so New York, and I’m not New York at all.” White jokingly said, admitting she’s very nervous about her first SNL host appearance.

Saturday Night Live hosted by Betty White will also reunite six former SNL cast members, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer and Rachel Dratch.
