The upcoming 2010-2011 TV season doesn’t seem all that original.
Everyone seems to be copying big movie ideas to the small screen… that doesn’t stop them from looking totally wild though!

 

#1 No ordinary family
Mix up Pixar’s “The Incredibles” with “Heroes” and a dash of “Lost”. And you’ve got a wicked new show to look forward to on ABC!
Dad wants to get closer with his family and decides they all deserve a nice Brazil vacation. “Can’t you just go and photoshop me in the holiday pictures later?” The two teenage kids are not amused but off they go… Their plane crashes into the Amazon river and not long after that some amazing things start to happen!

 

Starring: Michael Chiklis (The Shield) and Julie Benz (Dexter).


#2 Undercovers
Someone started up the copier and got some great idea’s from Brad Pitt’s and Angelina Jolie’s blockbuster outing “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”.
And yet this show sounds really exciting as it’s created by no one else than J.J. Abrams. The man that gave us Lost, Alias and the saved the Star Trek franchise in his spare time!

#3 Terra Nova
Dinosaurs! Terra Nova will always draw a comparison to the Jurrasic Park movies. But this time this Steven Spielberg produced series has a scifi twist. Terra Nova, which would see a family from Earth’s future flung back into the prehistoric age. The premise is a family accidentally time travelling to the prehistoric age!

 

Actor Kyle Chandler is rumoured to headline the expensive special effects rich new Fox series. The show will shoot in Hawaii summer 2010!
