I think too many people had specific expectations of the film and, when it wasn’t what they wanted it to be, they turned on it and seemed to need to almost punish it in their reviews. I, for one, loved it for what it was and have seen it quite a few times.

Sometimes it’s just cool to break a movie down. It’s a bad hype or vibe if you will.

But in the case of “The X-Files: I Want To Believe”, it’s totally unfounded……
